POWERfest 2025, June 13-14, at Rockingham Dragway in North Carolina, will mark the return of an iconic drag racing television series called "PINKS - Lost the Race... Lose Your Ride!" "PINKS" is a groundbreaking series that brought grassroots drag racing to national television and became a cultural phenomenon within the motorsports world.

POWERfest 2025 is more than just a racing event—it's a full-scale production featuring multiple original series, all filmed live for broadcast on the free automotive streaming network POWERtube TV. The weekend of competition is designed to represent the next era of racing entertainment, built for both on-site intensity and digital audience engagement.

The relaunched "PINKS 2.0" is the official evolution reboot that will feature a new host, new competition format and a new TV network, POWERtube TV. While the original show featured head-to-head matchups with one pink slip on the line, the 2025 version raises the stakes with a "King of the Hill" structure. One racer will have the chance to take home up to eight vehicles, winning every title from the competitors they eliminate on race day.

Stepping in as host is Bruno Massel, the NHRA driver and nationally recognized motorsports broadcaster. POWERfest will also debut the "PINKS Border Budget Build of presented by Powertrain Products Inc.," featuring viral racing personalities Justin Nunley (Team USA) and Shaun Umscheid (Team Canada). Each team will build a car on a strict budget and race live at POWERfest under PINKS rules. The twist: the losing team will have to give their car to one lucky fan in the stands.

Also filming during the weekend is "The Call Out: Small Tire Shootout," an invite-only showdown where online rivalries turn into real-world race-day battles. Known by its tagline "keyboard to concrete," this series begins on social media as racers talk the talk—but it ends at the track, where drivers must back it up under the lights. Brent Albury of Nitrous Express joins this series as guest host, adding his voice and experience to the broadcast. Another highlight of the weekend is the return of the legendary "NOPI Car Show Series," a name synonymous with large-scale, high-energy automotive events. Once a staple in the national scene, NOPI joins POWERfest with a show that welcomes all types of vehicles, not just imports. From muscle cars and hot rods to lifted trucks, exotics, and show bikes, this marks a significant and inclusive comeback for the NOPI brand as it re-establishes itself within today's diverse car culture.

The festival will also feature additional attractions, including Nostalgia Gassers, Mega Truck exhibitions and Kids Power Wheels drag racing.

All shows filmed at POWERfest will premiere on POWERtube TV, a 100% free automotive streaming platform available on Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, Android TV, iOS, Android and online at PTTVLINKS.com.
